Mumbai based Hip Hop/Bass artist Paper Queen has been making some serious moves with her skills and playing in clubs all over the world and festivals. Growing up in Dehra Dun, Nea discovered she had a passion for playing music. Persuaded by friends to become a DJ, her dreams became a reality when she moved to Mumbai. The bustling independent music scene in Mumbai inspired Nea to explore genres like Drum and Bass, Underground Hip Hop, Reggae, Jazz and Funk, which furthermore initiated her musical journey as a DJ.

Paper Queen has been a part India’s premier festivals such as VH1 Supersonic (Pune), Sunburn Festival (Goa), NH7 Weekender (Pune), Goa Sunsplash (Goa), Ctrl Alt Dance (Goa), India Bike Week (Goa) and Bass Camp Festival (Chandigarh/ Mumbai).

With a unique blend of Old & Nu Skool Hip Hop, Trap, Future Beats & Bass Music, a signature Paper Queen set has the right selection of music to receive mass appeal yet retain certain street credibility. Taking influences from artists such as Teeko, DJ Premier, Jon1st & Ivy Lab, her musical creations are hard-hitting,bouncy & engineered for the dance floor. Known for shelling out mixes to multiple platforms, Paper Queen has delivered NH7 Weekender (62nd Global Bass Chart) and Boxout Wednesdays (17th Global Grime Chart) for Boxoutfm. 

Paper Queen has supported heavyweight artists on India Tours such as Coki Dmz, Ivy Lab, Natasha Diggs, Sinister, Madam Gandhi, IAMDDB, The Librarian, DJ Squarewave, Anna Morgan, Rider Shafique, Calculon, AMIT, Swindle. Paper Queen has played in prominent clubs all across India such as Anti-Social (Mumbai), Social (Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai) Bonobo (Mumbai), Soho House (Mumbai), Raasta(Mumbai and Delhi), Summer House Café (Delhi), Auro (Delhi), High Spirits (Pune), Zeleb (Pune), Hilltop (Goa), Foxtrot (Bangalore), Humming Tree (Bangalore)4 And Guru Bar (Goa). She has also played numerous gigs in Berlin at Cassiopeia & Prince Charles and street festivals like Burger and Hip-Hop (Berlin). Paper Queen has also worked with International Brands like Adidas, Diesel, Jack Daniels, Levi’s5, Crocs, American Eagle, Jameson, Budweiser, Bira 91, H&M, Lakme Fashion Week (Mumbai).
